Dr. Brunson's research focuses primarily on the music of Ralph Vaughan Wiliams, specifically The PIlgrim's Progress.  A preliminary paper on The Pilgrim's Progess was published by the Ralph Vaughan Williams Society in 2007. 

 

Other research interests include the music of other 20th Century British composers, the works of J.R.R. Tolkien and The LIttle Prince  by contemporary British composer Rachel Portman.
